Biography

Sue Bostrom has served on GitLab's board since 2019. In addition to GitLab, Sue currently serves on the boards of Samsara, ServiceNow, Outreach, and SingleStore. Sue previously served on the boards of Anaplan, Cadence Design Systems, Marketo, Nutanix, Rocket Fuel, and Varian Medical Systems. She was formerly on the Stanford Hospital Board, Stanford Children’s Hospital Board, Stanford Medicine Advisory Council, the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR) advisory board, and Georgetown University’s board of directors. Sue is the former EVP and CMO at Cisco Systems and previously held leadership positions at FTP Software and National Semiconductor. She also served for seven years at McKinsey & Company as a leader in the electronics practice. Sue holds a B.S. in business from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, where she served on its management and advisory boards.
